breakfast table, we update each other with the daily news and do our best
to solve the world's problems.
Lunch, Dinner...There's nothing like true tales and those things we delight in turning into tall tales. Jokes that tickle the funny bone are a must.

Every Wednesday, we head for the East Helena Senior Center for lunch and Bingo. It's something everyone looks forward to. In Spring, Summer, and Fall, weather permitting, we try to get out for a scenic tour in the Shelby House Bus. We also make scheduled visits to the Library in East Helena.

A devoted member of the Helena Valley delights in visiting the Shelby House each Thursday morning to honor the spirit of all beliefs and all faiths. It gives all who participate the opportunity to reflect and offer prayers and healing to ourselves, each other, and the world. |

3:00 - Weather permitting, we walk the Shelby House Linear Park for exercise as
well as enjoy the landscape, the many wild birds that come to visit the feeders and
the extraordinaire beautiful views, no matter which direction you look.

in our community, the
state, nation, and world. We look for the best.
11:00 - Communion at the Shelby House
5:00 - House II - Tracy's Culinary Delight to music followed by Tuesday Night at the Movies - a
heart-warming video that often leads to great conversations.

Special Events...
Every week,
the Shelby House bus is loaded with staff
and residents to take part in community events in Helena, East Helena and
Townsend. Sometimes, we just go sight seeing. Canyon
Ferry Lake is just 15 minutes away.
In the summer, the Shelby House elevated garden next to the Linear Park Walkway
draws residents who like to putter in the garden.
There are plants and bird feeders at each house, comfortable outdoor seating, park benches, a gazebo for bird watching and visiting with friends and family.
Every month, we celebrate the birthdays by going out to lunch. Holidays are always a special event. We love to have friends and family join us.
