Shelby Cleveland's residence sets between Shelby House I and II, forming the basics for a sense of community and connectedness. The design of the property and the houses allows for communal gatherings as well as space and place and time to call one's own.
The Shelby House Inc., is committed to providing quality personal care in a family setting. Prior to relocating to the Shelby House, many individuals suffered from the stress of isolation that accompanies living alone. It's not uncommon to find a resident's health improving physically and mentally, spiritually and socially once they've settled in. Joining together with others is a good way to reconnect to life, especially in small intimate settings.
In originally setting up the Shelby House, Inc., one of Shelby's prime concerns was that all who come shall have a place they can call home, where they can age in place, with grace, without the worry of being asked to leave as the end of life draws near. When that time does come, the Shelby House welcomes family members and friends who want to be part of this miracle of transition.

ADMISSION POLICY
An individual
must be alert, continent, oriented to person and able to ambulate.
Age requirements: 55 or older.

The Shelby House Staff consists of a
registered nurse, licensed
practical nurses and certified nurses' aids.
